Achieving business transformation through user-centric HR technology adoption

David Guazzarotto
Director
Future Knowledge

With SaaS solutions becoming more mainstream in the HR technology world, transformation is achieved through the direct enablement of employees, not just the HR administrative teams who were once the predominant system end-users. Any organisation embarking on a technology-driven transformation initiative must put the end-user at the forefront of their strategies and planning in order to achieve the desired business outcomes.

This presentation provides practical insights into deploying HR technology through a user-centric approach to technology selection and implementation. It will draw on real experiences with Australian organisations that are undertaking the business transformation journey. David will challenge the implementation methodologies of legacy on-premises solutions and show HR practitioners how to confidently lead a technology-driven transformation project that focuses on engaging and motivating employees to adopt the technology.

At the end of this presentation, David will have proved how HR technology implementations are people projects, not IT Projects, and he will have provided a practical framework to take away and use on returning to the office. This includes an approach to selecting vendors on more than just feature-function; how to embed organisational change management into your implementation project; and how to drive user adoption through well-planned and executed communications and training plans.
